This year I decided to have a small, intimate Christmas celebration with my family. We didn’t go all out and spend a fortune, but we did enjoy our time together and made some special memories.

I’ll start by describing the decorations we put up. We had a tree in the living room with some traditional ornaments, like candy canes and stockings, but we also added a few unique items, like gingerbread houses andnametags that I made myself. My mom made us some yummy eggnog cookies too!

We spent most of the day playing games and watching old Christmas movies. Towards the end of the day, we all gathered around the fire pit in our back yard and cooked our Christmas dinner. Everyone helped out with dishes (even my two little brothers!) and it was such a fun family tradition to get together for Christmas.

Overall, I had an amazing Christmas celebration! It was so special to be surrounded by my loved ones and share some happy memories together.
