This can lead to what is known as “hearing fatigue.” This happens when students keep hearing what appears to be the same song, making what they are hearing less clear or sounding somewhat different.

While noise pollution is not allowed to cause physical harm, it has been shown to cause serious health problems. These include heart disease, high blood pressure, and what is known as cardiovascular reactivity.
